Dear Sweet Ceyone,
July was an exciting month for our family as we took our first vacation to Bangkok, Thailand after you turned 18 months old. Papa and I wanted everything to be super smooth for you and when you began to understand well and talk, we decided to go for a vacation. I've posted the photos of our fun first vacation with you here.
Your comprehension and understanding was growing at the speed of a shinkansen. You often surprised us with your witty remarks or words and we all laughed together. You had great word clarity and crystal clear speech. Your love for books reached new horizons. Your stranger anxiety was subsiding slowly. Overall, we had an active month starting with attending Aunty Anu's baby shower. When I showed you her belly and explained that there was a baby inside, you got super excited. We made a short story of the baby in the belly and how it'll be born and then cry for milk and become happy after drinking the milk. You were all smiles on the story. We went to Labrador Nature Reserve for the baby shower party.
One of the Fridays we went for dinner to Harman's place. Uncle Sandy and aunty Jagjit had moved to a new place and we had a small housewarming get together. You had good fun with a lot of food all around.
I wanted to learn photography and went for taking classes. I experimented taking your pictures and all your stuff in the manual mode. Here's a pic of your first trike that I experimented on.
Some activities of the month
On my monthly visit to IKEA. Playing with a giant ladybug pillow.
Some of your cute new additions. A toy iron and ironing board that Papa got for you.
One of your potato patty burger and chicken soup dinner.
Our gorgeous evening walks, full of discoveries and explorations.
A bit of shopping at Suntec city mall. Uniqlo store fun times.
You filled our home with endless jokes, laughter, cute mischiefs and cuter words. You mastered your thank you and thanked one of us every time you ate something delicious.
Tonnes of happiness, love and laughter,
Mumma

Most of our mornings started a little late as you liked to sleep late and wake up later. You liked visiting the balcony in the morning and observe everything.
You adored rushing to the balcony when the garbage truck arrived and watch the entire gig intently. I realised that most boys of your age were crazy for the garbage truck when I searched and found a handful of animation videos on YouTube.
One of the Fridays we went for dinner to Harman's place. Uncle Sandy and aunty Jagjit had moved to a new place and we had a small housewarming get together. You had good fun with a lot of food all around.
That month we had a few hard days when all of us in the family including you, Papa, me and Tita fell ill at the same time. We all had fever and colds and Papa had a jammed shoulder. I'm so happy it was all over soon.
Papa brought several new toys for you and the princess castle was one of your favourite as it played music and had lights.
I wanted to learn photography and went for taking classes. I experimented taking your pictures and all your stuff in the manual mode. Here's a pic of your first trike that I experimented on.
One of my friend and colleague Priyanka moved to Singapore from India with her two little cute twins, Arjun and Amaira. They visited us for dinner one evening. You had fun observing the babies but when Amaira came closer to you and wanted to touch and play, you freaked out. We were a bit surprised at your reaction but you made clear that you were not pleased. It was a great evening with lots of chatting and activity in our home.
Some activities of the month
Returning from Mucky Pups activity class. On the river valley road, watching a waterfall.
Play dates with Samar and Tiya. You could even pronounce Mayuko-san's name.
It was inevitable to visit malls in Singapore. We often chose the ones that had more toddler activities. You loved standing on the exerciser.
Papa insisted on putting a coin in the bat mobile while I was hesitant. You had a rocking time when it started swaying up and down.
You loved wearing the cool fluorescent green t-shirt more out of the two t-shirts gifted by Priyanka Mami Nani.
You filled our home with endless jokes, laughter, cute mischiefs and cuter words. You mastered your thank you and thanked one of us every time you ate something delicious.
Tonnes of happiness, love and laughter,
Mumma
