OMG October - 2014

Dear Sweetheart Ceyone,

Our days were flying off pretty quickly or maybe it was just for me after I started working. We still had the same fun. I worked from 7 am to 4 pm and our evenings were unaffected. Several people asked me how you took to my absence during the day and I replied you did great. You actually adapted quite well. Part of the reason was our long lay over. I took literally 2 months to get you accustomed to my morning absence by gradually increasing the time. I remained very consistent and helped you to understand the expectations. The system seemed to be working out except the days when you were not well or teething. The other good thing was my super flexible boss that made our lives so much more enjoyable.

In October 2014 we celebrated Diwali, took a vacation to Vietnam, HCMC and Naani returned to India. It was a very active month as usual in our household.

A few outings before Naani's return to India

In search of artificial sand at the ToysRUs store in Forum Mall.

Boys will be boys! You insisted to be seated in the display toy car.

Playing the mat tunnel game at home. It was mandatory for everyone to cross the tunnel and you had a gala time to see us go through.

Sincere meal time. Sincerity was towards the ipad though.

Mumma on Diwali!

You wanted to play with the trunki endlessly when we went to buy Harman's birthday present.

We met my friend and ex colleague aunty Taru during her visit to Singapore.

The Mucky Pups Halloween session.

Christmas preparations had started to appear when we went grocery shopping. You had your own cart to wheel.

Papa took a 2 week break to exclusively spend time with you after Naani left and I had started working. One of the days he took you to his office to show the special Lego wall at Google Singapore.

The night when you laid your hands on a brand new box of Cetaphil.

I loved our nose to nose sessions with you!

Your favourite past time was the vacuum cleaner. You seemed to do it very well.

The evening when we went for dinner at uncle Venkat and aunty Vidhya's house. You had fun with Mira and Mihir (much older than you) and played hide and seek.

Kitchen rolls, tissue boxes and toilet rolls shared the same fate at your mercy.

Your Naana and Naani in retro pics of their wedding reception.

The usual weekly play dates with Samar.

Towards the end of the month, Papa took us to Vietnam, Ho Chin Minh City for vacation. Our trips were customised to fit your schedule. Papa ensured to restrict the flight time to less than two hours.
