Dear Sweet Ceyone,
I was running behind schedule in updating the blog towards the end of the year and tried my best to catch up. I was certain I would.
They say when the time is good, it passes quickly. I was truly experiencing that. Our lives were running at rocket speed with - workdays, playdates, activities, preschool, birthday planning, vacation planning and living it all with tonnes of pictures. November brought a couple of birthday parties of your friends and the top conversations in our household were around your birthday party and favourite cake and how you'd blow the candles independently. Too much fun it was!
Some photos below.
We started cooking pizzas at home often to perfect the crust. Most days you enjoyed them but definitely preferred market pizzas over home ones.
We spent some good time at the pool before the weather cooler. Going into the pool was always very exciting and lots of fun. Getting you out of the pool was very challenging coz just like all kids, you wanted to stay there eternally.

Your first Android t-shirt brought by Sohail Chachu.

The first of birthdays was Harman's. You enjoyed a lot at his party. It was also your first encounter with jellies. Needless to say, we returned with a bag full of jellies from the party packed by Harman's parents aunty Jagjit and uncle Sandy.
It was inevitable to exit the toy shop with just the present for the birthday child. Each trip meant a new addition to your toy collection as well. I got you your first battery run Thomas the tank engine set. You were super excited!
November was another milestone in our household as Tita completed a year with us. You shared a very unique bond of love, trust, friendship and momentary dislike with her. She took very good care of you while Mumma and Papa were at office. We celebrated with cake and a dry run opportunity for you to blow candles.
I also invited your best friend Vivaan's family at our home for dinner. They lived just across the road from our building and it was a great catchup + play date.
Some of your yummy treats at home.
Next in turn was Zara's birthday. You were very reluctant to wear collar shirts but when I told you we were going to Zara's birthday, you immediately obeyed. It was the first and the last time you wore that pretty shirt. We all wore pink colour at her party - a very pinky family. You were having a lot of fun at the party until the clown arrived. After that we stayed outdoors as you refused to go indoors near the clown. I could sense that you'll have many girl-friends when you grew up. Notice Papa's moustache for the Movember contribution.
Days were running past like electric poles in the Shinkansen. I wanted to treasure everything and contain it in a jar. I knew very well that each moment of our togetherness was precious. You, Papa and me. Our little world. Full of wonders and love.
Sometimes Papa tried to hint to me that when you grew up, you'd forget the bond we shared and move on in life. The thought of it brought tears to my eyes. And then I enjoyed each and every moment of our cuddle time even more.
Wherever you go, whatever you do, Mumma would always love you. I was so in love with you!
Xx,
Mumma

Then it was your closest chum Vivaan's birthday at Polliwogs Vivocity Mall. We all were very excited for Vivaan and attending his party. We got up early and got dressed to reach the venue on time. You had a very good time there playing in the soft play area and then at the party room. The highlight of the party was Vivaan's uber cool bus shaped cake with real headlights. I had to make a huge effort to stop you from laying hands over his cake. We all enjoyed the the party and the goodies a lot!
