August 2015

Dear Cutie Pie Ceyone,

Your chubby cheeks would steal my heart every time I looked at you. You were still learning to smile at the camera and could not do a real looking fake smile. It was so funny to see you that way.

It was Singapore National Day in August so you and I dressed up in red and white colored clothes. We met Samar on the way and clicked a few pictures together.

Playdate with Vivaan and Riaan at Vivaan's home.

That was the first time I went to watch a movie after you were born. In the evening we went for canal boating inside Marina Bay Sands.

One of your favorite go to places was Botanical Gardens where you loved to feed the fish. Every single weekend we were at one of the other nature place.

Mamu doing his work at Naani's place in Bhopal.
That's me at my office summer party.

Getting wet at the rainbow water tubes was your favorite past time. The best part was pressing the hidden button to turn the water on. You wanted to do it again and again, every time it paused.

Some of the items of decoration I bought from the US and enjoyed keeping at home. I also loved doing small art works and created something from time to time.

That was our balcony then - 03-08

You were making friends with water and we took it super slow, baby steps. I was conscious of not having you develop a fear of water. That worked well. Eventually, you picked it up and learned to swim quite well.

View from our pool facing apartment. You had so much fun spending time in the wading pool with Tita.

We used to bring you for sleep walks as putting you to nap was a daily challenge. When you fell asleep we all automatically spoke in whispers, made no noise and handled you with utmost care.

That's when you spread your wings on me!
You had blue tractor and even though you were a little big for it, you loved riding it. You came to the kitchen in it, toasted some toy bread and pretended to eat it.

I got a clay horse paining kit and we invited Varenya to do this activity with you. She was older than you but you had good fun exploring paints and brush with her.

Some of the food items we ate - spicy prawn wraps by Tita, roast chicken with mango and cherry salsa.

I took a short 3 day trip to Hyderabad after 3.5 years of not visiting India. The first few hours I had a bad accident of twisting my ankle and ended up in a cast. It was so not cool!

I had gone to do Grih Pravesh pooja for Papa's apartment at Janapriya Nile Valley. Nana Nani came from Bhopal and Binu mausi who was visiting India also came to visit. Despite my broken foot, we had some good moments together.

At the apartment getting pooja done.

Having a good time with my most favorite people in the world.

Panditji setting up the pooja place and prepping. His wife also assisted him.

Nana Nani sat in the pooja.

It was a nice, spacious and airy apartment.

We stayed at Hotel Ohri and in the evening went out. There was a palmist sitting there and we had good fun asking him to read our palms. He spoke utter nonsense and we all knew it. We were trying not to laugh out aloud on his face when he was jabbering. It was good fun.

Most favorite activity - posing for photos.

Final dinner at their restaurant - that served sumptuous food.

I had to hire a wheel chair at the airport on my way back.

You had a playdate with Zoya and played with tonnes of your toys.

You loved to drink yakult.

Chilling on the day bed.

Some more of our meals by Tita - burgers and chicken biryani.

When I was unwell, I could not go to office and worked from home. I got some good time to spend with you and read you lots of books. You were always a bookworm :)

Spending time with Papa and doing naughty things around the house.

Blowing bubbles was another favorite activity of yours. I think we had 5-7 bottles of bubble liquid at any time.

That was a Singapore collage I put together for Ranadive family that were leaving Singapore.
You blowing bubbles happily.

May you always be mesmerized by the rainbow colors in a transparent bubble in life, Ceyone.

Lots of Love,
Mumma
