September 2015

Dear Sweet Ceyone,

As you reached the terrifically terrible threes, your conversations became more and more interesting.
One of the evenings you randomly said to me "Mumma I'm grateful to you!" I didn't know if you meant it or not but the words stayed with me for several days. I secretly admired and cherished that moment a lot.
I made a quick short trip to India - Hyderabad and ended up with a small accident with ligament tear on my right foot.  I had to be in a hard cast for 2 weeks followed by crepe bandage for several weeks. The skin of my foot was shedding and had white marks. You got quite concerned after observing my foot for several minutes and said to me very maturely - "Mumma you go to the hospital tomorrow, I will stay with Papa and Tita." My eyes were moist to see your concern and I returned a big smile and a hug to you. Such were each of those days - meeting milestone after milestone, laughter louder after laughter.

We attended birthday parties at Aspen Heights function room and your walks in the stroller continued.

You were such a fun loving chubby pie!

You enjoyed going to the aquarium and on a rare moment we saw several divers underwater.

My school + college best friends, Binu Mausi and Noopur Mausi.
That was a team lunch at the office.

A play date at Vivaan's.
We also went to see The Cat in the Hat show. You enjoyed the show and when we went down to take a picture with the crew you wailed loudly. You were too scared to go close to the dressed up cast.

My friend Mui Hong visited us at home and we had a good time talking together.

Papa's then boss, Ashok and family also came over before they moved to a different country.
You were an ipad junkie and quite happy sitting and watching YouTube at peace.

More visitors at our home - Mayuko san with her daughters and Samar with his Dad.

That's you and I having good times together, cuddling and doing lovee dovee shee!

You during your afternoon nap. My bundle of joy cutely asleep.

My friend Michiko chan from Japan came to stay with us for a couple of days while on a work trip to Singapore. It was good fun to have her around, spend time with her and chit chat. It was the second time she was visiting us to stay with us. She was a very kind hearted person and I liked her a lot.

Nice and happy meal times together on the dining table.

Tita made some nice tea for her.

We all enjoying a meal together on the dining table. It was a very nice moment to be together and relive our times spent together in Japan. She was the first person I met in Japan back in 2010.

May you always stay enthusiastic, chub chub and full of kindness.

Lots of love to you Ceyone,
Mumma
