Dear Ceyone,
May 2017 was exciting as we went for holiday to Langkawi. It was our last family holiday together with Papa. After that your share of holidays doubled, one with Mumma and one with Papa.
We packed our stuff and left all excited from home to airport in a giant car. We took Air Asia short flight to reach Langkawi from Singapore.
Tita and you were super excited.
We stayed in a very comfortable villa by the beach.
The food was delicious and we had most of our meals in their main restaurant.
You were a foodie through and through and enjoyed different food items.
Tita and I sneaked out to the local night market while Papa put you to bed.
It was a beautiful place with lots of nature to explore.
In the mornings we would sit in the patio and read books or do painting.
We also had good fun in their fountain pool. The best part about these getaways was that they were very child friendly.
It was my birthday and we went for dinner by the beach where the staff came and sang song for me. It was nice.
The best part of my birthday was receiving a kind kiss from you.
Me and you enjoyed our bedtime a lot with stories, laughter and fun.
We went sightseeing to their famous bridge and ropeway.
It was a nice day and we had fun. We also went to watch a dinosaur show.
We also fed carrots to rabbits and pellets to the fish.
Major attraction was the crocodile farm. You were crazy about reptiles.
On the trip to vegetable farm we took some fun pictures with a normal pineapple that looked ginormous.
It was also the first time we saw how pineapples grow.
We planned our holidays well paced and that allowed you lots of downtime. You indulged in showers a lot.
Visit to their bird park where we saw loads of colorful birds that even perched on our hands to pick food.
Flamingos, lorries, parrots and more.
You had a ball with so many birds and fish pond.
We also spotted a mumma hen with her chickens.
You had fun in the shower every single day.
We went to a different beach the next day.
We played together in the sand. You were not a huge fan of getting your feet filled with sand.
Next was their fish aquarium.
We stopped by to get some lunch and enjoyed a nice dessert.
You had also discovered the coconut ice cream for room service and it became a daily ritual at night.
Finally, it was time to fly back and return to Singapore.

Then there was my usual office life, coming to pick you up from school and our big house move within Aspen Heights.
I downsized to a smaller apartment and we let go some of our furniture.
Nana Nani flew in from India to support with the move as we were by ourselves.
You had a great time with Nana Nani and drank your dudu in Nana's lap sometimes.
For Mothers' Day we baked a cake that you topped with Betty Crocker icing.
We took some time to go out for dinners in the evenings.
All our stuff was moved in two days from old to new apartment. In the beginning it felt a bit weird in the new space and then slowly we got used to it.
We went to Botanical Garden as that was your favorite place.
Your playdates started and soon the days started looking more normal.
Nani and you had fun moments all the time.
I collected a dying rack from someone and decided to repaint it. I know you'd love that activity so I asked you to help me. You totally loved it.
Here are some before and after pictures and we decided to place it in our bathroom.
Finally, it was time for Nani to return to India and I went to drop her to the airport. We always missed Nani when she left.
Ceyone, life was looking tough to me as there were a lot of open items before me to solve. I didn't want to have a single hiccup in your daily routine. It took time, it took energy and some tears but then it was all figured out. It was great new beginning. I was increasingly feeling confident, independent and brave to make my own decisions and set us both up with minimal disruption.
You've been such a vivacious boy and I can't wait for you to share your kindness with the world.
May you always have mindful moments of mindless painting to relax.
Lots of love,
Mumma
