You were really growing up fast. By that time we had settled well into our new apartment where we moved a few months before and it was time to have some guests home. I invited my team team members, Dennis, Brenda and family for dinner at our place. Our home was cozy, tiny, simple and humble and I was house proud. It was my first time to rent a place by myself and figure everything our from scratch. I was very grateful that we were in Singapore where systems were easy to navigate and there was a high degree of structural fairness.
You were beginning to understand your environment and your own presence much better. The first sign of this was your feeling conscious in front of your friends. You still drank milk with bottle. But when your friend Bella came you quickly asked to put the bottle away as you didn't want her to see you with a bottle. We laughed so much at this.

I enjoyed doing art work from time to time and painted this 'Do Epic Shit sign. I took it to office and it became quite popular. It also got picked up as a theme hashtag for a few months.
We planned Halloween party with your new school ISS class at our home. We did lots of preparation including making chocolate bark with marshmallows, m&m's, kitkats and gummy worms. You helped me make it and we had good fun. We also made other yummy treats and froze a handglove with dark colored water that we used as ice to put in water. It was supposed to be creepy to see that hand floating in water.
Visiting Fort Canning Park with your friend Aria. We also loved going to the nursery to buy plants.
You asked a lot of interesting questions and were a deeply curious child.
You also wanted to write your book and decided the title for it - The hamster that got lost.
On Diwali day, we did pooja and ate yummy food.

Doing art and craft at home. I picked up a dying beige chair, painted it white and then traced cat in the hat on it, along with Dr. Seuss famous quote. "The more you read, the more you'll know. The more you know, the more places you'll go." I liked the quote a lot and wanted it to be around for you. Later on, once you started reading, you read a lot. Not having a TV at home and having tonnes of books around was quite helpful.

That was the time of your very first stage performance. Dance on the song 'udi udi jaaye, dil ki patang dekho udi udi jaaye' with your Aspen Heights group of friends for Aspen Diwali party. Ceyone you were so cute, chubbily jumping and dancing. I wore you my mirrors jacket and it went perfectly well with your outfit.
