Beautiful Ceyone,
The Handwriting Club at our home was picking up and we had children coming three times a week on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. It was a great way to foster the spirit of learning and focussing ability in children and not to forget the fun times and friendships as the byproducts.
Your interest in wild life was only going the chain reaction way. Your drawings, explorations, talks, video watching was all about insects and animals, particularly reptiles and amphibians.

One of the weekends I took you to River Safari and we saw lots of animals. You remembered the whole trail well and took special interest in ghadiyal and magarmach (crocodile). Since you liked those creatures so much you made an effort to memorize their Hindi names. One day you came and talked to me about the ghadiyal's toe and that how it was improving from a wound. I realized that you were tracking it every week during your visits.
We also saw two cute pandas named Kai Kai and Jia Jia. Sometimes when the pandas were hidden, people could still see them via cctv and observe the cute fun they have.
Lots of handwriting moments. This one about newspaper tracing to get a firm grip on shaping the letters.
I was a huge fan of Oprah Winfrey. So when one of the days at work when I had to wear something that represented my intersection, I decided to wear this dress. It represented two of my favorite intersections - Twitter and Oprah Winfrey.
Once in a while I made time to pick you up from school. Those days we stayed a bit longer at the playground, tried to basket the ball and enjoyed campus life in general.
More of the handwriting club in full swing.
Parallel to that I was also becoming more and more focussed on improving food intake. I started making green smoothies every morning rotating ingredients.
Your friends and you looked forward to the treats at the end of each handwriting session. Tita sometimes baked banana cake or choco chip cookies and kids loved them.
My shopping priorities changed from window shopping for clothes to finding varieties of nuts and seeds. I was also gifted this book called "Mind Full to Mindful" by Om Swami by my friend and colleague Amrita De La Pena. I read it every morning in the train during my commute to work after dropping you to school. It was a pure bliss to discover this book. I felt elated every time I read a few pages of the book. It was so so good for me and I felt I got to read it at the right time.
One of our other routines was visit to the National Library. We started including friends with us to make it even more enjoyable!
At work we used to have weekly lunches. Some pics from the treat that Dennis gave us all for my promotion. I was very grateful to him!
In the waffle maker I tried to make atta waffles with choco chips. You liked them!
We went to attend Viggo's birthday party at Waka Waka. It was a lot of fun!
You mostly drew insects when given a choice. On our newly acquired item, the whiteboard, you loved to draw ants and bees.
I took a pic of your K2 classroom outside area at ISS school.
My weekend breakfast was usually oatmeal loaded with fruits and nuts. I enjoyed the taste of natural items very much and eventually started lesser inclination for processed foods or meat.
Boiled corn was one of your favorites! Sometimes we ate sandwich and soup for weekend lunches.
More library fun with Ahaan and Yashveer.
Another birthday party of little Yuv where you had fun playing with friends.
Una's birthday party at Amazonia, Great World City.
Our Italian dinner that Papa took us to. You and I had a ball eating fresh pizza and then the dessert.
And just in a blink an entire month passed! Everyday was so exciting with you, Ceyone!
With lots of love,
Mumma
