Dear Chubbie Tub Ceyone,

That was the time when we went for new iphone shopping for me. Apple had launched their new multiple camera phones and you were crazy for them. You wanted me to buy the latest one iphone 11 pro that had three cameras. I considered key functions and my affordability and then settled for plain iphone 11 that had two cameras. You were deeply disappointed in me and told me that I never had money for anything. I thought that next time I'll get the latest one to be good in your books :)
When the new phone came, you owned it for a few weeks and I let you have it for almost two months before migrating my data into it. Here are few shots that you clicked with the new phone.

And that's me! 

You used to take vocal music lessons from Ms Joanne at Cristofori music school. You didn't like that class much and eventually we took a break from it in early 2020. 

October was also the festive time with several Indian festivals happening. That was the first time there was a kids' bazaar being organized at Aspen Heights. You decided to set up a drinks stall along with Ahaan in a 60:40 partnership. You guys laid down the business plan, menu and created board for Marketing. That was your first business experience. I cannot say if we made much profit but we did manage sales close to $90 and you both were super happy!

I cut down the menu to two items : i) Oreo Milkshake and ii) Badaam Milk. Later we added chocolate spoons as well to the menu for $1 each and they were a big hit among kids. 

                                 

You guys did product testing on the D-day of course! 

That was our stall, all set up nicely with ice boxes and ice. A few jugs of milk ready, cups stacked up, toppings laid out and chocolate spoons arranged in the front. Tita and Sarab helped to make the booth a big success.

For Diwali, Deepti sent us homemade jalebis and boondi dessert. It was delicious! 

It was also Halloween time and there was a bring your kids to work day organized in my office. You wanted to dress up as Greg Heffley from The Diary of a Wimpy Kid series by Jeff Kinney. I took a couple of prints and stuck them on your shirt and bag. It was a good, practical and simple outfit. 

                       

You enjoyed playing hopscotch created with duct tape. 

                                    

On Diwali day, we did our simple pooja at home, decorated the house with flowers and made rangoli outdoors. In the evening we went for dinner at Deepti's house with their family. It was a very nice celebration. You were very enthusiastic all the time and participated and helped me. I had already gotten your outfit during one of my India trips and you looked super cute in your orange kurta from Fabindia along with a white pajama that Nana made for you in his shop. 

Sometimes you made some weird creatures in your drawings and gave them even weirder names. 

That month I also travelled to San Francisco for work. It was a good visit to meet up with several colleagues that worked on the Twitter Asians group along with me. 

I also met Rachna mausi who lived in the Bay area in San Jose. 

There was a nice and inspiring chat with our CEO, Jack Dorsey. 

 

For your autumn break you went to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia with Papa, his parents and Tita. You seemed to have a good time with your grandparents. 

All in all it was a very eventful month with festivals, travel, activities all happening back to back. I also felt a bit overwhelmed to juggle so many things together and I consciously gave up a few activities. 

Ceyone I already miss your babyness already! On one side I want you to grow up fast and on the other I want you to stay my little chubby baby forever. My heart oozes out when I see your 2 years old baby video.
