Dear Baby Love Ceyone,
You were born in Tokyo on December 22nd, 2012 at about 11.30 AM in the morning at Tokyo University Hospital, Saisekai, Ikashika. After a couple of weeks in the hospital we came home at Nakanohashi, Mita, Minato ku in Tokyo.
We all were getting used to life at home and your shower area was the kitchen sink. You loved to sleep most of the time and sometimes during the bath as well :) I was ecstatic to have you in my life and the picture below was the one I posted on my facebook page to announce to my friends that I had become a mother!

Papa was another fan of yours and spent a lot of time doing kangaroo care for you.
We clicked photos of you several times a day and every day.
You were so cute and usually slept all the time.
That was our first visit to the temple near our home. It was a Japanese Buddhist small temple. It was extremely cold in Tokyo and you were in a snow suit.
I made you pose for pictures in your sleep and got scolded by Nani.
Just before we moved to Singapore, the Cherry Blossoms or Sakura season came up. I knew that it could be a long time before we returned to see it again. So one afternoon I put you in your snow suit and along with Nani we hopped into a taxi to visit the Meguro river area. It was one of the popular spots to view Cherry Blossoms. You slept most of the time and we looked through one of nature's best gift in full bloom. The sight was magnificent and I was so happy to be viewing it with you in my arms, sleeping peacefully in your Ergobaby carrier.
I went to see my team at Google Japan before turning in my papers and moving to Singapore.
Life in Singapore tropics was a huge change after Tokyo winters. At first I was sad for several days to have left Japan, my friends and my job. Then slowly we got used to life in Singapore and fell in love with it. I organized all your toys around you so you never slept by yourself.
When Nana Nani came to visit us in Singapore in June 2013.
You loved playing with your toes and sometimes nibbling them as well.
Your smile was my east!
You came to the stage where everything landed in your mouth.
You also started with eating solids and that was a massive task.
Clicking your pictures was one of my favorite activities.
There you are nibbling your teether and giggling with shrieks for me.

The stickers wall I created for you. That's a basket full of your cute socks. And that's when you got your first tooth and your first tooth brush as well :)
Ceyone, whenever I look at these pictures I feel a huge surge of love flow through my heart. I also feel amazed how quickly you grew up and crossed all these stages.
